High Rock Capital Management Inc. was formed in 2010 and is incorporated in the Province of Ontario. High Rock was founded, and is led by Paul Tepsich, CFA, President and Chief Executive Officer. Both High Rock, and Paul Tepsich, CFA are registered as Portfolio Manager with the Ontario Securities Commission.
The firm focuses on the active management of fixed income products in Canada, with a particular focus on C$ high yield. High Rock Capital manages risk with a blend of top-down and bottom-up analysis. The top-down analysis involves assessing macro and systemic market risks, while developing key investment themes, and devising a tail-risk management strategy. The bottom-up analysis involves performing in-depth analysis of corporate issuers including pro-forma analysis, financial covenants, and distribution waterfalls, along with investment scenario analysis for market entry and exit points.
